Essay Planning/ Ideas

I've been trying to think of an essay question. I had thought of a few films to think of a question about, some favourites of mine so I could write passionately about which ever I had chosen.

Idea one: Dali & Disney: Destino, Dir. Dominique Monfery, 2003
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0377770/

Idea two: Mary and Max, Dir. Adam Elliot, 2009
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0978762/

Idea three: Micmacs, Dir. Jean-Pierre Jeunet, 2009
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1149361/

Three different styles, three different types of 'space' , and in my opinion brilliant films.
I wasn't sure if I was on the right track for the essay though, so I decided to check through fellow classmate's blogs to see what kind of questions they had thought of and the feedback Phil had given them for a guide.
After reading these I noticed a repetitive answer Phil gave of 'make sure there is LOTS of information and reviews etc about them.'
Then I became unsure as to how big my choice of films had been in the rest of the film community as my taste can be different to many cinema goers, so thought of selecting some previously Big films.
I came up with another three ideas. Im still not sure what to ask about one of them but I would appreciate some feedback as to if my selection is more appropriate, I chose these as they have either a completely imaginative world or were a stepping stone in movie history.

Idea four: 2001: A Space Odyssey, Dir. Stanley Kubrick, 1968
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062622/

Idea five: Alien, Dir. Ridley Scott, 1979
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078748/

Idea six: Labyrinth, Dir. Jim Henson, 1986
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091369/

(i'm having so many problems with the videos in this post they appear differently in the editor than they do when i post them.... nightmare!)
