Ok it's taking some time but i'm getting there. Next could somebody tell me what these little yellow dots are and why they don't go away please? Anything I need to worry about? The duplicate doesn't seem to have them though.

Next Maya Help

I separated the selected faces but not every little bit is a separate object, was that suppose to happen and if so how can I make the window just one object?

It selects some other edges in the model too

I did try selecting just the correct edges separately but that still wouldn't work, i'm guessing thats something to do with the other connecting edges that highlight when double clicking?

Maya Help Please

Ok after saying everything is going fine.... how do I separate the selected section as a separate object?

Also, the bottom middle window won't fill hole on this attempt, but it would let me on the previous one....

Maya Update

Ok I emailed my file to Jon to see if he could figure out why the edges wouldn't let me extrude but as I haven't had a reply yet i'm guessing sleep was necessary :) so I decided to start again from stage 2 to see if it was something I did in the making. I made it again and it wouldn't let me extrude so like I tried with the previous attempt I tried to fill hole and push the face in, this didn't work with the last go but it did with this one. Is this method alright or will it have repercussions? It seems to be working....

Maya Help Please

Usually I'd spend ages trying to troubleshoot things before I just ask but as its last minute (i'll still be up most of the night anyway) I thought i'd ask. Any idea why the window won't let me Extrude?
