not necessarily, Nat - though you might want to think in terms of vehicles - however fanciful - if you watch the animation of the CGAA group blog - The Extraordinary Geographic Adventures of Joseph Morello - you'll see some AMAZING machines, rich in detail (but deeply impractical, I'm guessing). You might want to think in terms of robots/weapons/laboratory equipment...
Ah ok Brill. Thats why I wasn't sure if it had to have a practicality. Didn't know if it would then cross the life-form category as well as being a machine. I shall see what happens :) thanks
