I find it very satisfying that you're limbering up your style - but it's a Goldilocks thing - i.e. what you're after in terms of your creative method is the equivalent of a bowl of porridge that is 'just right' - but in order to know when something is 'just right' you also need the bowl of porridge that is 'too cold' and also 'too hot'. Absolutely - go wild, embrace new things, but if you need to dial it back, to bring it under control to get the results you're after, that's what you need to do. You've tried lots of genuinely interesting approaches - but soon, you'll need to draw some conclusions re. your visual concept etc. I look forward to it! :)
